Generation 2 separates the rotational degrees of freedom and uses a linkage mechanism with a handle/lead screw arrangement. If Generation 1 was good, Generation 2 is amazing. You can dial in your elevation precisely while adjusting the rifle cant using a separate lever. I'm currently in the process of adapting it to the AR 10/15 platforms and other modular chassis systems.
